Shimshuta  : (08 September 2010 - 10:25 PM) Anyone watch Rubicon on AMC? Very sublime, slow burn show.
Todd  : (08 September 2010 - 10:29 PM) it's in my queue
Brandino  : (08 September 2010 - 10:31 PM) The Other Guys - Was much better then I expected and definitely had lots of laughs. Worth watching IMO
Ray  : (08 September 2010 - 11:34 PM) I thought we all agreed not to get Move.
Todd  : (08 September 2010 - 11:38 PM) yeah I believe it's in the membership registration isn't it?
Shimshuta  : (09 September 2010 - 12:33 AM) I am not touching it for the same reasons I wont play Kinect, or the Wii. I hate Motion controls, and I have no place to play them with my setup.
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 12:40 AM) Who are we? I said I'd be getting Move even though I think USB ports on the front of the PS3 suck for the cam. Kinect I'm not keen on.
Shimshuta  : (09 September 2010 - 12:41 AM) And the whole fingerprint taking, and retinal checking at the cash register at purchase really bugs me.
Shimshuta  : (09 September 2010 - 12:41 AM)
fabio sir  : (09 September 2010 - 12:44 AM) I thought a major component of this site was that we all do whatever we want...
Goldenheart  : (09 September 2010 - 02:17 AM) Found a glitch in Case Zero. Don't dl anything while playing. When it finishes the DL, the game boots you to the menu WITHOUT SAVING!!! (I'll post this in the thread too.)
Goldenheart  : (09 September 2010 - 02:19 AM) I had just finished a part & was 30 seconds away from saving too!
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 02:26 AM) That's the same glitch I encountered when I first played it. I already posted it in the threadif you have a look at my initial impressions.
Goldenheart  : (09 September 2010 - 02:34 AM) Doh!
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 02:36 AM) I ended up saving every few minutes I was so paranoid. Lucky for me though it happened on my 1st/2nd play so I didn't lose much.
Goldenheart  : (09 September 2010 - 02:36 AM) You said it restarted for no reason. Mine happened right after I was notified a dl was completed. Were you dl'ing something too?
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 02:37 AM) hasn't happened since *knocks on wood*
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 02:37 AM) you know what It's possible I may have been DL'ing something. Good catch!
Goldenheart  : (09 September 2010 - 02:42 AM) I know, I know: Crazy to suggest you might've DL'd something. I mean, I know you hate buying XBLA games just as much as I do.
d2_s  : (09 September 2010 - 03:27 AM)

Finally, a Gaming PC with a Built-in Xbox 360
Orign PC unveils a new all-in-one gaming rig.

Have you ever dreamt of having an all-in-one gaming machine that consolidates a full gaming PC with your favorite consoles? Well, the designers at Origin PC have, and today announced the introduction of The Big O; a high-power gaming PC that features a built-in Xbox 360.

Each PC comes with a built-in Xbox 360 'Slim', which can be played while the PC is running other tasks and software, and supports all of the same connections and features of a full console. While the built-in Xbox 360 is certainly the biggest selling point of The Big O, it is actually one of the fastest gaming rigs available. The entry level version of the system features an overclocked 4.0GHz Intel Core i7 930 processor, a liquid cooled Rampage III Extreme motherboard, dual NVIDIA GTX 480 GPUs, 6GBs of memory, dual 50GB SSD drives, a 2TB hard drive, Creative Fatal1ty sound card, and built-in Blu-ray burner. Sounds expensive? It is; Origin has priced the base configuration at $7,669.

If that wasn't enough to break your bank, The Big O is also offered in the configuration used by CPU Magazine, which features dual Intel Xeon X5680 processors overclocked to 4.3GHz, an EVGA SR2 motherboard, liquid cooling, quad SLI EVGA GTX 480 GPUs, 12GBs of memory, four 50GB SSD drives, two 2TB hard drives, a built-in Blu-ray burner, and a built-in 8 channel HD audio sound card, at a price of $16,999.

Have the cash to shell out for Origin's gaming powerhouse? The company is now taking custom orders for The Big O starting today via their OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

This is something that should've been made along time ago! The PERFECT HTPC! I'm almost tempted to make one myself as I think it would be a fun tech venture, but I wouldn't be able to afford anything near this asking price or as powerful, for that matter. I can't even begin to imagine the heat coming out of this thing when both the PC and 360 are running at the same time!

Total Recall: Best and Worst Part Fours

It's no secret that Hollywood loves sequels -- but studios are also pretty quick to abandon franchises when they start running out of steam at the box office, so if a series can make it past three installments, it's an achievement worth noticing. Of course, noticing and commending are two different things -- but while we tend to be cynical about sequels, particularly later ones, not all fourth film chapters are created equal. In honor of Resident Evil: Afterlife's impending bow, we decided to dedicate this week's column to some of our favorite (and not-so-favorite) third sequels. Direct-to-video titles were, as always, off limits, and we mostly ignored the many sequel-friendly (and drearily similar) horror franchises -- but that still left plenty of films to choose from. From the maligned to the honored, from the wildly successful to the all-but-forgotten, it's time to Total Recall...tetralogically!

Can 1UP save Gotham City from having its citizens be turned into cats? Who gets to play Batman while the other person is stuck as Robin? How useful is Booster Gold when you call on him during battle? What's it like to have a tiny little fanboy from the Fifth Dimension come by and drop health and anvils all over the place? These questions, and more, will be addressed (and possibly answered) in our quick sessions with Batman: The Brave And The Bold for Game Night.

Sony has officially released a new firmware update for PS3, version 3.42, which seems to only include "additional security features" as explained by Sony's director of hardware marketing John Koller in the official announcement on the PlayStation Blog.

As rumored and then confirmed by Eurogamer, this firmware update's intention was to stop the much-discussed "PSJailbreak" exploit -- in which users used a USB dongle to "fool" a system into thinking it is a debug unit, allowing installation of "unsigned code " (the expectation being pirate games) on the system.
