TonyDP  : (07 September 2010 - 11:27 AM) At AKA Superman's suggestion I got Alien Breed: Episode 1 for 400 points last week. Finished the game last night and had a good time with it. While it wasn't particularly original in any way it had a vibe that really hooked me in. The story, art style and graphical panels reminded me a lot of sci-fi stories I used to read as as kid in Omni and similar magazines.

I got mine back when I was still in high school when it was down to $60. My dad stepped on it during a trip when one of my brothers after one of my brothers borrowed it, but I fixed the screen a few years ago. Replacement screens are on ebay all the time and it's not difficult.

My battery compartment corroded after some batteries were left in there too long, so I can only use the AC adaptor now.

I saw something about it on Wikipedia, but never really looked into it. It's a shame they never released it, it seems like a pretty solid and good idea.
